Have you ever been curious about how our clothes were made? I was! So follow along as I take you through the different stages of the clothes making process! Starting with cutting the pattern shapes out, we then proceed to mass cutting, sewing, ironing, and packing! In the video, we also get a sneak peek of the sampling room and different internationally sized mannequins.

THANK YOU: Bao dress was sewn by Liu Guozhen and Fried rice top was sewn by Li Zhuhui.

Look at our journey from SAMPLE stage to FINAL product

Creating samples were a large part of the process and it was almost sadistic because it was a painful process of trial and error that I had to pay for.

Stage 1

1st Sample

I wanted a pair of embroidered, cream colored, jeans material shorts. I didn't realize that you can't do embroidery less than 4cm. The supplier that I worked with was TERRIBLE and I cut them off very quickly.

Stage 2

4th Sample

I switched to a different supplier and it was difficult because of language constraints. We eventually ironed it out. UNFORTUNATELY, after getting this sample, while I loved it, the material started to pil after washing. Yikes!

Stage 3

83477367th Sample...helpppp

We've come a looong way
